We have a FAT, GIANT and NOISY rat living in our roof. We're not sure how long it's been living there but it's definitely been there since we moved in in June.
A couple of weeks ago we threw some poison up, we heard it running around and then all of a sudden there was hectic thundering on the ceiling, as though it was having a fit. We assumed it had the poison and was almost certain this would kill it. Oh, how we were wrong! A few nights later and we heard the rustling of Mr Rat running around.
Yesterday, we decided to give Mr Rat round two of poison. We heard nothing at first and then at 3am this morning David and both get woken up by some intense squealing coming from the ceiling. It was pretty frightening... but hopefully that is the last we have heard of Mr Rat.
