Autumn - My favourite

The morning air is slightly more crisper, feet are whispering it's time for boots, leaves are falling and we're reaching for warmer jerseys. All of this spells out the beginning of my favourite season  - Autumn

I think my ultimate favourite thing about Autumn is that the leaves on the trees are changing to various colours of reds, oranges, yellows and browns. My second favourite thing about Autumn is that when these warm red and orange leaves fall to the ground leaving a crispy and crunchy path for us to walk on. There's some wonderful delight found in walking through crunchy leaves, kicking them up in to the air and watching them fall to the ground once again.

Autumn brings the start to warmer socks, scarves, hot chocolate and boots.
I think I swap tea drinking for hot chocolate drinking round about this time of the year.

Another favourite thing about  late Autumn as it gets closer to Winter is that it's okay to waste a day in bed or snuggled up on the couch reading a book or watching movies as the weather turns more grim as long sunny afternoons are replaced with long , cold rainy afternoons.

I also enjoy sunny autumn days spend lazing around in the sun, without worrying about getting to sunburnt.

Oh how I love Autumn...
